About Mr. Arturo

Welcome to Grade 3D! 

I am a certified school teacher with 20 years of teaching experience in the United States, Philippines, and Qatar combined. I hold an elementary teacher license in the Philippines and two (2) educator certificates in Texas, USA. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary of Education back in 2000. 

I am a member of the pioneering batch of teachers in Arab International Academy who came to Qatar in 2016. I live in Doha with my wife and my three-year old daughter. My two adult sons are in the Philippines to continue their studies in the universities. 

 

 

Aside from being a classroom teacher, I am also the AIA Seesaw for Schools manager. I set up classes on Seesaw and provide support to teachers, students, and families in matters and concerns relating to the said platform. I finally became a Certified Seesaw Educator earlier this year. 

I like the idea of travelling to countries with great historical and political significance. When I was in Texas, I took the chance to travel to other states including Washington, DC where I wondered around the US Capitol and The White House. While in Qatar, I had the chance to travel to India to visit Taj Mahal with my family. I was also able to go to Berlin, Germany for a week. There, I had the opportunity to go on walk tours in some historical sites in the city and other surrounding places.
